Aston Villa supporters have voted Moussa Diaby as the club’s August Player of the Month.
The striker secured just over a third of the votes from Villa fans having found the net twice and registered an assist in his first four Premier League outings.
Summer signing Diaby has hit the ground running since his arrival at Villa Park and started five of the club's six fixtures in August in all competitions, which included a four-match winning sequence.
Matty Cash, who bagged three goals in two games, finished second in the supporters' vote, with captain John McGinn third following a string of impressive displays in the middle of the park.
