Moussa Diaby has been voted Aston Villa Player of the Month for March by supporters.
The France international forward enjoyed an impressive month having found the net twice and registered three assists.
Diaby stepped off the bench to provide the cross for Lucas Digne’s late winner against Luton Town at the start of March.
He then featured against Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur, before finding the net in Villa’s 4-0 Europa Conference League triumph over the Dutch club at Villa Park.
A further influential substitute appearance followed in the 1-1 draw at West Ham United, setting up Nicolò Zaniolo for Villa’s equaliser at London Stadium.
Diaby rounded off the month by opening the scoring against Wolverhampton Wanderers and then claiming another assist for Ezri Konsa in the 2-0 success.
It is Diaby’s second monthly award of the season having also won the club’s Player of the Month vote for August.
