Aston Villa can confirm Rico Richards has joined Port Vale on loan.
The midfielder heads to Vale Park after helping Stockport County win League Two during a loan spell last season.
An England youth international, Richards joined Villa from West Bromwich Albion where he had been part of the Academy set-up at The Hawthorns.
