Aston Villa can confirm that Bertrand Traoré has agreed a mutual termination of his contract and has left the club to join Villarreal.
Traoré signed for Villa in September 2020, going on to score eight goals in his first season with the club.
He spent time on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir during the first part of last term before returning to Villa and scoring two crucial goals en route to qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
