Aston Villa is pleased to announce the signing of Joe Gauci from Adelaide United.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins from the Australian side for an undisclosed fee.
A native of Adelaide, he started his career with West Torrens Birkalia before stints with Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne City, returning to his home city in 2020.
On the international stage, Gauci has earned honours with Australia's senior side.
He is currently with the Socceroos squad at the 2023 Asian Cup and will link up with Villa upon his return from the tournament.
The transfer is subject to international clearance and obtaining a visa.
