Aston Villa Women announced Noelle Maritz as their first signing of the January transfer window on Friday.

The Switzerland international joins the club on a two-and-a-half year deal with the option of a further year.

Maritz, 28, joins having had previous spells with Zürich Frauen and VfL Wolfsburg before her move to England in 2020.
