Aston Villa Women are pleased to announce the signing of Noelle Maritz from Arsenal, subject to FA approval.
The Switzerland international joins on a two-and-a-half year deal with the option of a further year.
She becomes Carla Ward's first signing of the January transfer window.
Maritz, 28, joins having had previous spells with Zürich Frauen and VfL Wolfsburg before her move to England in 2020.
The defender will bolster our backline ahead of the second half of the campaign.
