Dan Turner has clinched the Barclays WSL’s December Goal of the Month award.
The defender notched her second of the season in stunning fashion, netting a spectacular volley which gave Villa an early lead against Manchester City at Joie Stadium.
Turner's strike won the vote for the club's goal of the month award and it has now also sealed the WSL honour.
Turner was shortlisted alongside Alessia Russo (Arsenal), Martha Thomas (Tottenham Hotspur), Khadija Shaw (Manchester City), Aurora Galli (Everton), Lauren James (Chelsea) and Erin Cuthbert (Chelsea).
