Aston Villa Women are delighted to announce the signing of Spanish international Paula Tomás from Levante for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance and FA approval.
Tomás joins the club on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year, having turned professional with Granotes in 2020.
The 22-year-old left-back has also progressed through the ranks at international level and has two senior caps to her name.
Manager Robert de Pauw said: "Paula is a young and versatile player that can play as a full-back on both sides.
“She is able to defend well and also go up the flanks in attack. I think she will bring intelligence and determination to the team. I’m happy the club were able to bring her here."

“She is a player we have enjoyed tracking and watching. Our first-ever Spanish signing, she is certainly an exciting player that I am sure fans will enjoy seeing play.”
