It proved a successful return to action for Aston Villa over the weekend, as Unai Emery's side marked their first fixture out of the international break with victory, booking a spot in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

The March break saw several first-team stars link up with their nations and play minutes on the international stage for the first time since November, while those not involved with their countries flew out to Dubai for a warm-weather training camp.

Upon their return to Bodymoor Heath last week, the Villans got straight to work on the training field ahead of Sunday's trip to Preston, with a 3-0 victory at Deepdale ensuring they picked up where they left off at the beginning of the month.

Wembley, here we come!

Goals from Marcus Rashford (2) and Jacob Ramsey were enough to seal a 3-0 victory over Preston North End in Lancashire, where Villa secured their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup with their fifth-consecutive victory in all competitions.

The two goalscorers were joined by a whole host of their team-mates in toasting the triumph on their official social media channels...
