Kaine Kesler-Hayden bagged his second goal in Preston North End colours over the weekend, in a 2-1 defeat to Championship leaders Leeds United at Elland Road.

The 22-year-old has impressed on loan for the Lilywhites this season, notching his first goal in Preston colours last weekend in a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City.

And the right-back was quick to double his tally for the club against Leeds on Saturday, taking Mads Frøkjær’s pass, cutting inside onto his left foot and firing an unstoppable effort past goalkeeper Karl Darlow to draw his side level after six minutes.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Samuel Iling-Jr again completed 90 minutes at left-back for Middlesbrough, in a 1-0 defeat at Millwall.

In League One, Josh Feeney played 90 minutes for Shrewsbury Town who drew 1-1 at Lincoln City, while Sil Swinkels started and played 69 minutes for Bristol Rovers, who lost 2-1 at home to Exeter City.

League Two saw Filip Marschall in action for Crewe Alexandra on Thursday night, playing 90 minutes in goal in a 3-2 defeat at home to Cheltenham Town. Tommi O’Reilly completed 90 minutes for MK Dons who fell to a 1-0 stoppage-time defeat at Gillingham.

Rico Richards played the final 15 minutes off the bench for Port Vale as they went top of the table with an emphatic 5-0 victory at home to Bromley, while Kobei Moore played the final 20 minutes as a substitute for Fleetwood Town in their 3-0 win at Chesterfield.

In the Premier League, Àlex Moreno returned to Nottingham Forest’s starting line-up, playing 90 minutes as they fell 1-0 at home to Everton.

On Friday night, Enzo Barrenechea completed another 90 minutes for Valencia who made it three wins in a row with a 1-0 triumph at home to Sevilla.

In Germany, there was another start for Kosta Nedeljković as RB Leipzig triumphed 3-2 at Wolfsburg on Friday night, the young Serbian playing 77 minutes, while Emi Buendía was an unused substitute on Saturday, as Bayer Leverkusen drew 0-0 at home to Union Berlin.

And Sunday's action saw a further three Villans feature. In Belgium, after Leander Dendoncker completed 90 minutes for Anderlecht on Saturday evening in a 2-0 defeat Union Saint-Gilloise, Kadan Young played the final 20 minutes off the bench for Royal Antwerp, who fell 1-0 at home to Gent. 

Overnight in Brazil, Philippe Coutinho started and assisted Pablo Vegetti's opening goal in Vasco da Gama's 3-1 win at home to Sport Recife, before being withdrawn 20 minutes from time. And in Spain, James Wright kept a clean sheet for Real Unión in their comfortable 3-0 win at home to Lugo.
