Aston Villa can confirm that Samuel Iling-Jr has been recalled from his loan spell at Bologna and will immediately join Middlesbrough for the remainder of the season.
The youngster has made 16 appearances in all competitions for Bologna, scoring twice, including a goal in the Champions League.
Iling-Jr signed for Villa last summer from Juventus before heading back to Serie A for the first part of the 2024/25 campaign.
