Aston Villa is once again proud to support Level Playing Field’s ‘Unite For Access’ campaign.

Level Playing Field is the leading charity advocating for disabled sports fans in England and Wales, and the dedicated Unite For Access initiative is an annual period of inspiration and celebration of good access and inclusion at sports venues.

This season’s campaign takes place from Saturday, March 1 to Sunday, March 16 and focuses on raising awareness as well as driving equality for a more inclusive matchday experience for disabled sports fans.

Year after year, the campaign helps to recognise why watching live sport is so important to disabled supporters and what is done to deliver access and inclusion, as we come together to mark the occasion.

Villa's home Women’s Super League match against Everton on Sunday will be our dedicated fixture, with players wearing Level Playing Field t-shirts during the warm-up and club media across all channels as well as inside Villa Park showing its support for the campaign.

Level Playing Field has launched Unite For Access 2025 with an official campaign video.

It focuses on the value of collective matchday experiences and combatting year-on-year rises in disability abuse as a barrier to attending live sport, as revealed in the 2024 Level Playing Field Annual Fan Survey results.

This year’s film spotlights disabled supporters of different Premier League and EFL clubs, alongside a Dedicated Football Officer and Level Playing Field’s Head of Fan Engagement & Supporter Services.

As a club, we believe all people should be able to attend live sports, regardless of disability. We are committed to making Aston Villa accessible to all, and will continue to take steps to improve, but we also call on supporters to come with us on this journey - we all have our part to play.

We invite all fans, disabled and non-disabled, to engage with us on this important campaign and to ensure access and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.
