Aston Villa is pleased to announce Ben Broggio has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 18-year-old made his senior debut from the bench in Villa's third round win against Wycombe Wanderers in the Carabao Cup in September, while he was also named among the substitutes for a Premier League clash versus Crystal Palace in November.
Broggio has been a consistent performer for the Under-21s across Premier League 2, the EFL Trophy and the UEFA Youth League this season, earning him international recognition with England Under-18s.
Academy Manager Mark Harrison is happy to see Broggio commit his future to the club.
"We are delighted that Ben has signed a new long-term contract, this is a recognition of his continued development over the last year and also the potential he has shown," he said.
"He has performed well in a number of games this season as an attacking midfielder, which has also meant some involvement with the first team.
"As somebody who has been at the Academy since his Under-9 year, we look forward to seeing how he develops over the coming seasons."
Congratulations, Ben!
