Aston Villa will face Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of this season’s Champions League, after booking their place in the last eight at Villa Park on Wednesday evening.

A 3-0 win over Club Brugge in B6 sealed a 6-1 aggregate victory over two legs against the Belgian outfit, after a 3-1 triumph in the first leg in Bruges last week.

Unai Emery’s men will now take on the French champions over two legs next month for a place in the semi-finals. It will be the first time in history the two sides have faced off against one another.

For Emery, it’ll be a reunion with one of his former teams, after he served a spell in charge of PSG between 2016 and 2018, winning the Ligue 1 title and two Coupe de France crowns.

The Villans will travel to the Parc des Princes for the first leg on Wednesday, April 9 (ko 8pm), with the second leg to take place back at Villa Park a week later on Tuesday, April 15 (ko 8pm).

A memorable journey in Europe’s elite competition continues.

Up the EuroVilla! 💜
