Aston Villa triumphed on another memorable Champions League night at Villa Park last Wednesday, in their final outing before the international break. 

Unai Emery's side will face PSG in the quarter-finals of Europe's elite competition, after a 3-0 second leg win in the round of 16 over Club Brugge. 

And, with Liverpool competing in the Carabao Cup final over the weekend, the international period began early for the Villans. Players began reporting for duty with their national teams as the domestic campaign breaks for the first time in 2025.
