Aston Villa are heading to Wembley having secured our place in the FA Cup semi-finals!
Unai Emery’s side triumphed 3-0 over Preston North End on Sunday afternoon to book their spot in the last four of the world’s oldest domestic cup competition.
Marcus Rashford’s quickfire brace in the second half, his first goals for the club, put Villa on their way before Jacob Ramsey wrapped up the victory with a well-taken strike from distance at Deepdale.
With the travelling support singing ‘Que Sera, Sera’ at the final whistle, it means the Villans will compete in their first FA Cup semi-final for 10 years.
Villa, who last reached Wembley in the 2020 Carabao Cup final, will participate in their fourth FA Cup semi-final since the turn of the century.
And they will now face Crystal Palace across the weekend of Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 for a place in the prestigious final.
