Jacob Ramsey is looking forward to walking out at Wembley for the first time in next month’s FA Cup semi-final, after netting in Sunday’s 3-0 win at Preston North End.
The Villa academy product put the gloss on a comprehensive afternoon at Deepdale 19 minutes from time, driving at the heart of the Preston defence and finding the net to complete the scoring.
He is now looking forward to what will be his first appearance at the national stadium, after blowing the hosts away with an assured second-half performance.

Speaking on the upcoming semi-final, Ramsey said: “Really good. It’s been a while. (This will be) My first time playing at Wembley, against Palace, so looking forward to it.
“Even in the first half, I know they started off pretty fast, but our end product or final pass wasn’t quite there.
“That’s what the boss said at half-time, and we did that in the second half.”

Turning attention to Villa’s busy upcoming fixture schedule, Ramsey is now focused on the games ahead, and insists he and his team-mates are keen to finish the campaign strong.
He added: “These next two months need to be our best two months of the season.
“We’ve got some big games coming up in the Champions League and two massive games in the Premier League coming up, so looking forward to it.”
