Villans book Wembley date

Aston Villa booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a 3-0 triumph on the road at Preston North End on Sunday afternoon. 

Marcus Rashford's first two goals in claret and blue put Unai Emery's side in command either side of the hour mark after a goalless opening period, before Jacob Ramsey's superb effort sent the game beyond reach of their Championship hosts. 

The win ensured the Villans would compete in the last four of the famous competition for the first time since 2014/15, taking on Crystal Palace at Wembley next month for a place in the final.
