Kadan Young is a creative and skilful player who can play anywhere along the forward line. He signed a scholarship in July 2022 and has since featured regularly for the club's Under-21s.

His form for the Young Lions earned him a place on the bench for several Premier League games. Young was also included in the first team squad for the club's pre-season tour of America in July 2023. 

He has represented England at age-group level, featuring in the Under-17 European Championships in summer 2023.
