Youri Tielemans joined Aston Villa in July 2023 upon the expiry of his contract at Leicester City. The Belgian made 195 appearances for the Foxes during a four-year spell, scoring the winner in the final as they won the FA Cup in 2021.

Tielemans has a wealth of experience in European competition, racking up over 66 appearances in the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League.

The midfielder began his career at Anderlecht before moving to Monaco for a two-year stint in France. On the international stage, Tielemans has been a key player for Belgium since debuting in 2016, playing in two World Cups and a European Championship.
