Before You Leave Home

Your matchday prep starts at home – make sure you’re prepared for a safe and enjoyable matchday!

Before leaving

  • Make sure you’ve read the information in this guide plus the Fans Code of Conduct and any other T&Cs that came with your etickets. By purchasing a ticket you have agreed with these so it’s important anyone attending is familiar with the requirements within.
  • Your parties lead booker will have received a Health Declaration questionnaire – make sure the lead booker has completed this on behalf of your party before arriving at Villa Park. You will not be permitted entry without doing so.
  • You’ll receive an SMS on the morning of the fixture with a reminder about checking your Covid-19 symptoms – do not attend if you have any symptom
  • Parking is confirmed to be available at Powerleague (£8), Broadway School (£5) and Brookvale (£7) carparks - Villa Park Parking information can be found here

What to bring

  • Face Covering -You’ll need to be wearing this at all times to cover your nose and mouth, apart from if you’re drinking or eating, or if you’re exempt for medical reasons
  • Food & Drink - Click here to see what food & drink you can bring and how to pack it
  • Your Tickets - Ideally print your etickets for a smoother and quicker entry
  • Bags - Click here for more details on bags you can bring – small and clear only is the general rule.
  • Villa Gear - Your usual Villa gear, including hats, scarfs and your shirt!

How to get here

  • Plan your journey, things may be different to normal with social distancing in place.
  • We are encouraging all fans to drive, park and walk to the ground to avoid public transport wherever possible.
  • If you are using public transport, please be mindful of everyone’s safety.
  • Parking areas may not be open like on a usual matchday so make sure you plan for this. Check out avfc.co.uk, contact us or speak to your usual provider to find out the best place to park.
  • Aim to arrive in good time to ensure smooth entry in to the ground before kick off. This isn’t a normal matchday and the extra checks in place will create some delay to your usual entry, so please bear this in mind.
  • As part of planning your journey, make note of the Gate number on your ticket and the map to plan your route – you will be heading straight to this Gate when you arrive.
